13U Fastball, Girls Fastball (Ingersoll Minor Baseball )

To wrap up the year the girls participated in a select tournament that incorporated U15 rules into a U13 division. This allowed them to get a taste of what next year will be like as they move up. The girls came out of the gate with the bats on fire. They progressed through the round robin learning the new rules as they went. They also shuffled around learning some new positions along the way to prepare for next year.

What a day and weekend for our U13 Girls! Today they kicked things off trailing 6-0 going into the 5th inning of game one—and pulled off an incredible comeback to win 8-7! Riding that momentum, they dominated game two with a commanding 12-3 victory. In the tournament finals, we started off strong with a 1-1 tie after the first inning, and then ran out of steam. Still, we walk away Finalists with our heads held high and hearts full of pride. Way to go, girls! The fight, the heart, the hustle—what a weekend!
