A GREAT Starting Week for the Squirts!!
The Ironbirds Squirt team had an AMAZING first game against Baden! The girls have come together well and because of their hard work during practices, the girls came out on top!
Excellent pitching by Lily helped the defence secure the victory!
This weekend, the Squirts traveled to Tavistock to play a very tough team. Julia did a great job pitching in her first game ever. The tough pitching from Tavistock kept our bats silent for the first few innings. The short rain delay is what our girls needed....bats came alive and their speed was shown on bases. Even thought the girls lost 17-5, their spirits were not hampered The game ended in an awesome double double play by Callie all be herself!!!
Great job Ironbird girls!!!!
