A Sweet Saturday Win in Sarnia!
This past Saturday our Minor Mosquito families travelled to Sarnia to face off against the Braves for the first time this year.
Cole L took to the mound for most of the game and found their strike zone early and often! Their bats were awake early though, but our D was awake and shut each inning down pretty quick!
Our bats were awake too and it was a close game for most of it! Nate K took over the mound and shut it down in the last 2 innings. Hard hits, fast wheels and smart plays kept the score in our favour until the end.
Awesome behind the plate was Nate P, ready at 2nd base for a hard line drive hit to him was Nicky, and right fielder Cole T dove and caught a pop fly in the last inning to contribute to a quick shut down by our Ironbirds!
Final was 7-5 in favour of Ingersoll! Great job BOYS!!!!
