Our Minor Mosquito REP boys hosted the first place Dorchester Diamondbacks tonight and it everyone held their breath until the final out!!
The Ironbirds were on their game tonight with some awesome defensive plays with many throws out on first to Brando, and a cannon throw from Cole T behind the plate to Cole L on 2nd! Nate didn't back down during his turn as Catcher and worked his butt off in the dust with a few tags at home! Ty, Cole I, Cole L and Nicky did the mound proud!
The final inning saw run after run coming in and we were creeping up to that Dorchester lead quickly, highlighted by an awesome double by Aaron! 2 outs and 1 run between them and us with the bases loaded, and Brando hit one hard but didn't beat the throw to first...final score 15-14 for Dorchester. They were nervous!
