Please review the following weekend Itinerary for our tournament this weekend.  If you are going to be late for any game please be sure to contact Darren.

Friday June 24th
4:15pm - Lions Park - Pre Game Warm Up
5:00pm - Showtime vs. Waterloo Tigers (Blue Jerseys)

Saturday June 25th
10:30am - Lions Park - Pre Game Warm Up
11:15am - Showtime vs. LaSalle Titans (Orange Jerseys)
1:00pm - TEAM POTLUCK
 - Kinsmen Community Park & Splash Pad - 281 Head Street North
 - Reminder - Bathing Suit / Towel - Potluck Item - BYO Beverages
3:00pm  - Lions Park - Pre Game Warm Up
3:45pm - Show Time vs. Royal York (Blue Jerseys)

TOURNAMENT REMINDERS

WATER, WATER, WATER…..

  • The importance of staying Hydrated throughout competition is vital!

  • Pre-Game – Drink 4 to 8 ounces of water one to two hours before competition. 

  • During Game – Drink 5 to 9 ounces every 15-20 minutes.

  • Post-Game – Within two hours, drink at least 24 ounces of water to replenish.

STAY OUT OF THE SUN

  • Warm Up in the Shade (when available)

  • Team Huddle Up in the Shade (when available)

  • Team Tent over Dugout for temporary shade

  • Remove baseball caps while in the dugout as it will release heat from the players heads.

PERSONAL MISTERS & COLD WET TOWELS (Back of the neck)

  • Quick Cool Down – will help provide quick temporary coolness to the players core temperature

HEALTHY SNACKS

 

  • Water Dense Fruits and Veggies – Pre Game / Game / Post Game are great snacks to help keep players hydrated and provide simple sugars to keep energy levels up.
