2020 Season Cancelled
Submitted By IMBA Executive on Sunday, June 14, 2020
Dear Ingersoll Ironbird Families,
It is with great disappointment and sadness that we are cancelling the 2020 baseball season.
Changes and updates
have been announced to us daily by league organizers, the Government and the Town as to how a season would look if we continued on. Our decision was
not an easy one but it came down to few key factors. Many other organizations have cancelled, many organizations are still in phase one, many additional expenses, many safety protocols that would have to be followed and most importantly the safety of our Ironbirds and their families.
We will be offering two options for the refund of your money:
1. A full refund of your base fee.
2. You can have a credit for the 2021 baseball season.
You are invited to come to Currie Park on June 24th or June 25th between 4pm - 8pm.
At this time, you can inform us if you'd like a refund or a credit. If a refund is requested we will issue it at that time. Your refund will be for your base fee. The indoor fee and the raffle ticket fee is non-refundable. You need to bring your ticket stubs from your raffle tickets and hand them in. We are legally obligated to continue with the draw. The draw will take place at a later date and we will post the names of the winners. If you don't come on the 24th or the 25th then you will automatically be given a credit for the 2021 baseball season.
We ask for your patience on the 24th and the 25th. Please be mindful of the social distancing regulations and be patient with us as we do our best to make it as quick as possible. Please keep an eye on the website and our Facebook page in case any last minute changes need to be made.
Thank you for your continued support and understanding. We look forward to seeing everyone back for the 2021 baseball season. Take care and enjoy your summer !!
